How can we help?

Questions, a problem with the app, or an idea for Restock? Get in touch.

Or email contact@rebarstudios.com from your preferred email app.

Report a problem

To help us investigate, include:

  • What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • The steps that reproduce the problem.
  • Your device model and iOS version.
  • The Restock version and build number shown at the bottom of the app’s Settings page.
  • A screenshot, if useful, with personal information hidden.

Please do not send passwords, payment details, or a full shopping-data export unless we need it to investigate and you choose to share it.

Getting started

Restock helps you keep reusable shopping lists for things you buy regularly. No Restock account or login is required.

To revisit the introduction, open Settings → Set Up Restock. You can use shopping lists without granting location or notification permission.

Back up or move your lists

Open Settings → Export Data to save a JSON backup to a location you choose. Use Import Data to add missing records from a Restock backup. Import keeps existing records unchanged.

Exports include saved store addresses and coordinates, but not learning history. Keep a copy somewhere you trust before deleting the app or moving to a new device. Restock does not provide its own cloud synchronization service.

Store arrival reminders

In Settings, enable Remind me when I arrive at a store. Check that your store has a saved location and that an active list contains unbagged items for it. Reminders need Always location access, Precise Location, and notification permission.

Open Settings → Reminder Diagnostics for the app’s current status. iOS controls when location events and notifications are delivered.

Ads and privacy choices

Version 1.0, build 4 requests only non-personalized ads. Non-personalized advertising can still involve data processing for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Where available, open Settings → Privacy → Ad Privacy Choices to review your regional choices. Declining Apple’s tracking permission still allows eligible ads without Apple’s advertising identifier. Declining regional consent may still allow limited ads. Privacy choices do not grant Remove Ads; ad availability depends on Google’s consent checks and available inventory. Ads pause while privacy choices are updated or if setup cannot finish. Your shopping features remain available.

Restock requests Apple’s native tracking permission only where its regional advertising requirements are satisfied. You can review Apple’s permission under iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. There is no need to allow tracking to use shopping features.

Read the privacy policy for details about Google’s services and the information processed.

Remove Ads purchases

New Remove Ads purchases are not currently offered in version 1.0, build 4. If you have an existing entitlement, open Settings → Remove Ads and use the restore option with the Apple Account used for that purchase. Contact us if you need help.

Your data and privacy requests

Your shopping lists and learning history are stored on your device. Rebar Studios cannot retrieve them remotely. You can clear learning history in Settings → Restocking Suggestions.

For questions about privacy or information you have emailed us, contact contact@rebarstudios.com. See the privacy policy’s deletion guidance before removing the app or backups.
